The Global Maker Challenge is one of two programmes facilitated through the Mohammed Bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity. The Global Maker Challenge invites innovative start-ups, entrepreneurs and businesses to submit solutions to solve real-world problems. The challenge is divided into 4 themes, Sustainable Energy, Digital Divide and Digital Literacy, Rural Transformation and Zero Hunger and Sustainable Cities.
Each of the 4 Challenge Winners can win prizes to the value of up to 250,000 USD, including cash prices, mentorship. The shortlisted companies will be invited to a pitch live session in UAE, and the finalist to the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit, in July 2019 in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

? Application Deadline on 31 January 2019.
? Applications will be reviewed by expert judges throughout February – April 2019.
? Senior Representatives from the shortlisted submissions will be invited to a pitching session in the United Arab Emirates (to be confirmed).
? The final winners will be announced at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit in Yekaterinburg, Russia in July 2019.
